Nestled in between two rivers at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Calgary is surrounded by dramatic landscape. We created and curated this custom art collection to reflect the natural art surrounding Element Calgary Downtown.
Who knew an office building could be so inviting? We worked with the talented designers at THA Design + Architecture to artfully transform this unused urban space into a lively hub for downtown mingling: The Element by Westin Calgary Downtown Hotel. From sweeping mountain scenes on custom wallcovering to sophisticated sets of painterly abstracts, the collection at Element Calgary Downtown is an indulgence in texture and natural beauty. Tying in motifs from the local, famously beautiful landscape, our studio artists created custom works that illustrate effortless mountain peaks married with graceful, painterly strokes. Texture features prominently in the collection, visible not only in traditionally framed works but also in custom curated relief works, wall sculptures, and woven textile pieces throughout the hotel.
