Kalisher
Gallery Goes Green!
Last month our popular reproductions hits HomeGoods in a smart looking pallet display. We printed all of these on paper certified environmentally friendly by the Forest Stewarship Council. In addition to being earth-friendly, this is a premium paper stock which gives us brilliant whites and very strong blacks. While we didn't have the space to announce this on the framed prints themselves, all of these are also matted in 100% recycled mat board. "Green Lodging News" noted last month that our Interior Design customers can now create custom cutting-edge 100% green framed products using earth-friendly, recylced components. Contact Lisa Mays (919) 967-4300, xt.23 or lisa@kalisher.com for details.

Jesse Named "Hometown Hero" by Local Radio Station
WCHL, AM1360 in Chapel Hill and Durham, North Carolina named Jesse a "Hometown Hero." The award recognizes Jesse for his work raising money for the Fisher House (tm) Foundation as well as for his work to protect children to fly on commercial airlines from "R" rated images of violence. You can listen to the station's announcement here. "It's a bit over the top," Jesse said reluctantly. "I'm certainly appreciative, but I'm sure there are other folks in the community more deserving than I am... ultimately, if the announcement helps Fisher House (tm) raise more money, or helps our cause with the airlines, then terrific."
